School Visits
Explore our three-acre children’s farm with interactive and ‘hands on’ sessions. Junior Farm is a member of the Countryside Education Visits Accreditation Scheme and it is an ideal setting for pupils to immerse themselves with life on a farm, with interactive and stimulating sessions. Our programmes have been designed using the National Curriculum as a guideline, allowing you to meet classroom learning objectives.
We have two fantastic programmes for you to choose from, suitable for Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1.
What can you expect?

Each pupil is given animal feed for an up close encounter with our sheep and goats.

Pre-visits are welcome for teachers.

Risk assessments for all activities are provided.
- Free car parking with dedicated spaces for coaches.
- Both indoor and outdoor lunch space is available.

Available Autumn, Spring and Summer term, explore our three-acre children’s farm with interactive and ‘hands on’ sessions. Meet our friendly farm animals and learn all about their life on Junior Farm. Finish the day with a small animal cuddle session.
Where does our food come from?
Available Autumn and Summer term, explore our three-acre children’s farm with interactive and ‘hands on’ sessions. Visit our fields and learn about what plants need to grow, the crops we grow on Junior Farm, then dig in and discover what lies beneath the soil surface. Meet our friendly farm animals, before finishing the day by planting a seed to take home.

Available during Norfolk school's term time only.

£9.00 per pupil, minimum of 20 paying pupils.

1 accompanying adult free for every 5 pupils. Additional adults £7.50 per person.

Payment Terms: Invoice will be raised on the day of the visit for the number of pupils that attended on the day. Payment required within 14 days.
